We would like to thank Building Green TV for generously allowing
ChildrenofTheEarth.org to use their wonderful videos.
Building
Green TV's mission is to provide homeowners with an
understanding of how easy, cost-effective and healthy it is to go
green, while also showing that an
environmentally conscious lifestyle does NOT
mean doing without.
Through
this TV series,
host and home builder, Kevin Contreras
takes viewers through his
journey of building his sustainable - green home. The
program's interesting, clear and easy-to-follow presentations show
what it’s like for an ordinary person
to really go green.
The website,
www.BuildingGreenTv.com,
provides detailed how-to information and
connects readers with green
building resources. Their site also
offers readers a place to share their own
green building stories and tips, and to
interact directly with Kevin himself and a
growing number of self-taught green building
fans and experts.
This is the first time I am
encouraging users of
ChildrenofTheEarth.org
to watch a television
program.
I
highly recommend Building Green TV. It is an excellent series which
teaches very important green building and sustainable living practices.
The series is aired on PBS, and you can
visit this page to find your local PBS station. If your PBS station
does not offer this program
- call, write or email your local PBS
station saying: “Please
add Building Green TV to
your programming. We need more television programs which help us learn
practical and valuable ways to improve the environment."
